I've noticed that most people bring up negative aspects of appeasement if your the mouse. Can it be good? Is there a point where being the mouse can be good?
Appeasement seems to just be a way to avoid the actual problem. It usually tends to make the situation worse, because it is not addressing the underlying conflict. This leads to more tension. That's a good question though, but I can't think of a situation where appeasing is better than addressing the issue.
